Nioxin Side Effects

If this occurs, take it as a measure of how much work will be needed to restore your scalp back to complete health. The hair lost is usually dead hair which remains on the head. Hair undergoes a growth cycle ending with its death and shedding off. Accumulation of sebum in the hair follicle may cause the hair to remain stuck there. This leaves no opportunity for new hair to grow.

The cleansing process of nioxin results in the removal of the accumulated sebum. As it’s removed, so is the dead hair. You need not panic though, this hair loss allows for new healthier hair to grow.

Reddening of the scalp is another nioxin side effect. It is visible after application of the nioxin hair treatment. Reddening is the result of dilation of blood vessels in the scalp.

The dilation is usually prompted by vitamin B3. This enables blood to flow to the scalp increasing the amount of oxygen and nutrients availed. These are important for the recovery of the scalp and hair growth.

Before using purchasing it is important to consider the side effects that can occur from its use. This will enable you make a decision on whether it is worth your aspirations of a head full of healthy dense hair.
